? on early doe season

is it just strictly does or can you still take a buck in early doe permit areas with a bow? if it is just does i may have to hunt another area next week cause where i hunt is a early doe permit area.

early anterless applies to anterless deer only with a firearm. you may still shoot a buck with your bow, but you cant have a firearm with you in your possession at the time! and because of the EA season, even if bow hunting, you still have to wear blaze orange just as you would rifle hunting

yep. EA applies only to firearms. so you can tag a buck with your bow during a EA season. make sure the rifle doesn't leave home though. they both can't be in the tree with you, rifle and bow that is! make sure if hunting in a permit area with EA season going on you wear the appropriate blaze orange!! Even if bowhunting! Unless someone can inform me of something different, or if things have changed, thats what i know!
