trappingaddiction
Is there many ruffed grouse in the area? Does the wildlife reserve have many of them?
tybo
I don't know about doves but I have seen a few ruffed grouse there. You have to be very careful what you hunt and where there. There are several areas that are open to hunting but there are restrictions on almost all. For example, double check this, I believe west of CR 5 there is no hunting of migratory birds which rules out doves, woodcock and waterfowl. I highly recommend referring to their HSOforum to make sure you understand what you can hunt and where. I have never hunted doves there but I have seen a few woodcock and grouse.I haven't hunted it a lot so I don't know how many there are. Again check their regulations. I'm not sure how they may change from year to year.

trappingaddiction
they do not allow dove hunting. Yes but I was just wondering about the general area near the refuge.
knoppers
there is a spot just north of the refuge that may have doves, but grouse may be limited due to the old growth woods.
