After seeing a few pictures of sprucies today, and hearing a few sprucie reports, I'm getting excited for my upcoming trips up North to chase down a suitable male for my upland collection. Can any of you share some spruce grouse pictures to help build my level of excitement?

Matt, any I'd post here I've already posted a few times. Could be I'll have some more after tomorrow, but we'll have to see. I know Ken and a few others have some nice sprucie images.

I have some nice hen and chick shots, but no roosters. Haven't seen a rooster for a couple of years.

I've got a couple places we'll hit hard this time instead of skipping around like we did last fall. Lots more dog work than last time.

All but the last image are of males, with the last image a hen. Regardless of plumage, the red eyebrows mark a male sprucie every time.
