Ohio hunting...

My best friend just moved to Columbus, OH and knows nothing about the area. He's looking for info on hunting and fishing in the area. Can anyone delve into opportunities in Ohio for upland birds, fishing around Columbus, etc...? I know that turkey hunting is good, but how about grouse, woodcock, quail?

I plan to make at least one trip his way each fall for some hunting, and of course take advantage of the fact that he's so close to Eerie...

I will be heading to Ohio in a couple weeks for some late season bowhunting.

I've found a lot of info from the Ohio DNR page. I'll let you know what I find out when I'm out there. I'm hoping to make a combo hunt out of it.

We are going to Dillionvale, Ohio. It is south of Steubenville almost to W. Virginia. Its on private land which should be nice.

We are leaving on New Years day evening so we get there on saturday morning for a meet with the landowner.
