Could someone give me an idea of whats out there today?

Looking for something basic to film kids football games from the stands as the wifes flip isnt cutting it, not enough zoom. Want to keep it as budget friendly as possible so dont need hi-def. would like flash memory so theres no hard drive to crash or freeze, small, easy to use, and decent software for transfers,uploads etc. Anyone know what would be the best bang for buck? Any help is appreciated.

I have a sanyo xacti I got on a deal from amazon for like 169. Check out their specials, I just got an email from them within the last week or two with specials.

You don't need software for uploads. Just use the USB cable that comes with the camera or get one of those memory card reader things.

Some come with editing software like Adobe Premier Elements, although it seems to be typically back level.
