H20 map issue

I placed a Nav chip in my handheld and went to change it to the southern Mn for Navionics. I would not let me as it just locks up. I go to map data and scroll down and when I try to do anything, she locks up.

Any ideas?

Have you tryed soft reset? With the unit turned off press and hold the pages key then press and hold the poerd button release both when the map comes up.

HL, please let us know if this works for you. I've had difficulty getting my Nav chip/H2O combo working ever since I got it.

I guess I have to get smarter.

I can get it to work in parts of the state but not for Mille Lacs. It doesn't matter now as I looked it up on the Nav HSOforum and the Mille Lacs lake is not high def. My Lakemaster chip is older and also not a high def. My older Lowrance card for Mille lacs is off by a ton and pretty much useless as far as I'm concerned.

Looks like I need to purchase another new lakemaster just so I can get the high def map so I have some idea where the flats, reefs and rock piles are.
