Decisions on a new rod

Hanson, wouldnt bother me to get rid of it just for I tend to prefer baitcasters....but for a spinner its a good setup. But your right that rod is nice.

Baitcaster guy myself, I understand.

I picked up a few Safari "Channel" rods and they sure are nice. I put 6500 Garcias with 15lb Big Game on them. Sweet little rigs for circle hooking channel cats.

The E-Cats are back, great rods.

Big Jim Moyer has his "Boss" Rod line....very very nice...both run about $80 depending on the model/action.

A quick Google search will clue you in on where to find them.

I have a Boss rod and I like it very much. Yes a few more dollars but, a quality rod at that. I also have an E-Cat and that too is a great rod.

hard to beat the surge rods and the berkley glowsticks, great action.the tiger rods for the money are hard to beat, used to catch a bunch of 40's and 50's on the tigers including a 52lb flathead. loved them but found new rods like the surge, still miss my old tigers though.

Speaking of rods does anyone here have/checked out a tangling with catfish rod? I read about in another forum and it looks like a decent rod. It's a MH 7'6" E-glass blank with stainless steal eyes(8+tip), cork handle and can sling up to 12oz and is about the same price as Surge ($65+shipping) any thoughts ?
