USDA3
I have an M2 and put about 1000-1500 rounds through it each year. Easy to clean, low recoil, haven't had any problems with it. Would reccomend it to anyone.

airdriver
I had an 870 for years, but couldn't really hit anything with it. It was pointed out to me the gun was a little big for me. Looked around for about a year and opted for the M2. My shooting actually improved with it. It's light, easy to swing, and compared to the 870 very little recoil. It's high price tag made me wince, but after buying it, I feel it's money well spent. Great gun, had to adjust the stock, but the plates came with it, and it was easy to do. Gun fits perfect, and I have had zero problems with it so far.
ccarlson
I bought one a year ago and can find nothing to complain about whatsoever. Absolutely reliable gun and excellent quality. I had shot an M1 for 13 years prior and the transition took about 1 or 2 duck hunts and it was like I had been shooting the M2 for years. (the difference I noticed seemed to be more in the choke patterning differences of the new chokes compared to the old choke styles of the M1 more than the gun fit and style.) I love it for both upland and waterfowl. Oh, also shot a nice turkey with it this spring. It's a nice do all gun.Now had the Vinci been out last year, I certainly would have given it a good comparison to the M2. Just read a review in a hunting mag of the vinci and the breakdown of that gun is unreal and the reliability sounds to be the same as the other benelli's.If I were only upland hunting, I would also have considered the Benelli ultra light but, I don't like the finish offered if you will hunt waterfowl.ccarlson
