Thanks Hoffer, I will be around, not sure what or exactly where each day though. If you swing up I can at least mark some spots on Pipestone for you to try. If I know for sure that I have a day free before you take off, I will let you know and maybe we can fish a bit. Does your cell work when you are up?

Superbee-

It works sometimes - but very spotty. Pretty unreliable.

If I decided to hit pipestone - refresh my memory - would have to reload the boat? or is that the lake with the mechanical portage??

I have to admit we get kind of into the swing of things while we are up there and may not even get back down to the despair area unless to maybe get more gas or something. There is a bigger group this year - I think the cabin may even be full. Dont want to hijack your post here on this thread...maybe we can start a new one on the canadien area.

Your new fly in looks nice. Dont know if you remember me telling you this...but my brother bruce and I and my Dad flew into one of the L and M fly in lakes a number of years back. We flew right out of the Fort Frances Rusty Myers dock - and I think we went to an lake that isnt listed on your site anymore...like Dogfly? it was mainly a walleye/northern lake. The first day the plane flew us into another lake to pick up some guys there and they were fishing strictly smallies. They had caught tons of them. Anyway...if we cross paths - that would be cool. If you have a chance stop by.

You have 2 mechanical portages to get to Pipestone from Jackfish. You would enjoy Pipestone, but that is a good haul from down there. We will have to try and figure out which lake that was next time I see you.

Superbee..

Do you have a map or directions you can show me how to get to the portages etc...and get into Pipestone.

I may not end up doing so...but my friends other buddies that are coming up this time are into doing some day long trips like that. If its not a problem to somehow get me that info - that would be great. I can leave you my email address if you want too.

Thanks!

Hoffer
