I am heading up to North Star Lake over Labor Day and am wondering if anyone has advice or tips on locations and lure selection. This is my first out of metro area musky trip and I have heard good things about our destination.

If anyone knows of a good local guide, I would appreciate a referral.

Post this in grand rapid forums u ll get few reply.. I don't remmy the guide last name but his first name is lee .. From what I had seen his pics he had boated some nice fish out of north star, deer n moose. I think his wife boated 48 or 49" couple week ago. Good luck up there!
