Anyone go to the Old St. Paul Brickyards recently?

To look for fossils?

Have not been done there in many years...thinking about going this weekend.

I went last June with the kids. You need a permit from the city to be in there these days. It's free but takes a few days to get unless you go in person.

We had a great time and found all sorts of fossils.

If you are referring to the brickyard in Lilydale, I was there this past week. obviously picked over, but there are still plenty of fossils to be found. I actually found more fossils walking the banks of the Miss. than at the old brickyard.

No permit needed for the Lilydale brickyard.
