bolanfish
Besides the commercial wheelhouse builders like Ice Castle, The Lodge, King Crow, Road King, Sportsmans, are there any others??Maybe good reliable private builders also??I am looking for an 8 x 16 with rear double swing doors. More plain than fancy. Getting dizzy looking on the confusing internet.
B-man715
Check out the Shack Rack brand. They look very impressive, one of a kind frame and steel studs. There is a recent thread about them "finally starting my 09 fish house project"His is a 12', but they make larger tandem axles as well. minnbowhunter
My son has a Performance Engineering house, they were great to work with and make alot of custom changes at no cost. My brother has an Ultra Shack and likes it, I have an Ice Castle that I am very happy with. Mine has vinyl siding that gets brittle when it's real cold, I would add a stone shield if you go with vinyl. I do not have double doors, but the other 2 do. I will say that the double doors are nice to haul a wheeler but they do a poor job as far as keeping the cold out. There will be ice build up if you don't run a fan to keep the air moving. Just my 2 cents.
