My favorite up until now has been the SCAR. FAMAS is worthless in my opinion. The machine pistols are surprisingly good.

I don’t stick with a weapon very long, I like to rack up the points, then switch. Not only do you get to upclass, you get to try out all the different guns.

I think I found a new favorite last night though. The Barrett .50 is a beast. Get an ACOG scope, and pair it with a G18 with a red dot, maybe throw in an akimbo, and you have a great run and gun/snipe setup. My K/D ratio was substantially better running with that sniper class last night. Oh and I got my first PaveLow , that was sweet.

My KDR is hovering around 1.7 through 2500 kills. My two most commonly used classes are SCAR w/extended clips and stinger combo. Its a good multipurpose class. My run and gun class is the mp5k w/red dot and AA12 w/grip. I was hoping the ACR was going to be better but it doesnt seem to drop guys quick enough.

Id recomend doing a private match with friends or by yourself and take a few minutes to explore any level you dont feel comfortable with or all of them. I did this on W@W and this game early on. When you know the map and everyone else is lost you have a huge advantage. When I did this on a few maps I thought I knew well, I found rooms I had never been in and some really good unknown sniping spots on others.

i use the acr alot it has great of fire but thats about it.the m4 and the m16 are the best assult guns.the hbar and the m240 are awesome light machine guns.on highrise you can take the scaffolding and get to the upper parts on that map.

the vector and the scar are pretty good guns also.im more of run and gun guy i cant sit for long thats why i dont snipe

I really like running around with riot shield and a shottie or the 50/acog/shottie.

That shield works great for holding down hq in open spots where ya back into a corner and crouch...plus its gratifying when ya sneak in on a guy and bash em twice with it.

Or another one thats fun is the auto pistols....

I didn’t realize there was any aim assist on this game. Is that true? Single player has it, but not sure about multiplayer.

I haven't seen MW2 but on CoD4 my brother showed me that if someone ran in front of you and you repeatedly zoomed in and out you would actually turn to follow the target. Since the engine went mostly unchanged I'm sure it's pretty much the same in MW2.

The other assist on aim that all games have is slow cursor. Because it's difficult to be precise with the 2 joystick set-up, when hovering over the target your look sensitivity is turned way down so you remain over the target.

An example of a zero assist weapon would be the sniper rifle in Halo when it is unzoomed "no scoping". Zoomed in it has assists, which at times in annoying because when there's multiple targets close to one another it always picks the wrong target it seems.

Wallace, you playin MW on 360 or PS3?

Their is a slight aim assist but its not as prominent as its being made out to be. In single player I notice it will lock onto enemies but in multiplayer Ive never had the aim assist help me. Ive tried the taking advantage of the aim assist but you really cant count on it to work when playing online you'll get smoked in a split second if try it.

It would be nice to get a full party of us all together so that the full team can communicate and cooperate. That really makes for a fun game! Heck we could even tack on a silly clan tag name.

Got it on my own but thanks for the help offer. Just needed a longer charge. Still need more work on the controller but getting better. Anyone played the rust map on TDM yet? Have not seen this map on the rotation.

No, Rust is not in the TDM rotation. Not sure why. It sure is a killfest though huh?

Two things are always certain about Rust. Someone will be up in the elevator and someone will be in the pipe.

Speaking of which, I discovered the newest fad is jumping out onto the crane in Highrise and then climbing up onto the edge. If you are able to get up there with a sniper and thermal scope, you can really rack up the kills.

I’ve been playing Free For All the past couple of nights trying to clean up my K/D ratio a little bit. I’d like to get it up around 1, but I never seem to be able to get there. The problem is that I will usually switch over to an objective type game later on and the ratio goes right in the toilet then because I only care about completing the task.

Now I wish they had "Hardcore Team Deathmatch Express".

Which brings up the point; if you thought Team Deathmatch was a camp fest, you should see Hardcore.

I almost don't need the headphones at night, there's that little shooting that it wouldn't even wake the fam.

Yeah, I noticed that about Hardcore as well. Everybody is so cautious on that. It'd be fun if you camp or like sneaking but I like to run and gun, so not so fun!!! I wish it was more like the normal one, as I hate it when you shoot somebody a bunch of times and they don't die and end up killing you. Maybe I just stink!!
