Doop
Hey Barry, I made it to St.Louey....my bro in law and I fished Pomme De Terre yesterday and caught numberous bass 5-9 inches long. lol Not exactly what we were looking for! Struck out on the crappies too. It was a rough day. Water temp was 89 when we got off at 3 pm. We are "thinking" about making a run north to Mark Twain. Only problem is we have no clue where to even get started. We were thinking about trying old road beds for crappies...and visible wood. Any ideas/suggestions? BarryG
I was at MT today! We didn't get to fish long though, lightning chased us off plus the trolling motor quit! We haven't done any good at MT this year! The bite is TOUGH!!! They are dropping the lake almost a foot a day trying to get it back to pool. I wish I could help more! I really wish we could catch some FISH!!!!
Doop
Thanks for the reply......we decided to hold off on a drive to MT. Given the fact we've never been there and the weather would be questionable again today....we figured it would be a tough row to hoe. Took a look at the Cannon Dam pictures and some fish are being caught....but not many. If we were going to go...we were going to fish the Lick Creek area.
