Whats some good family and economical camping around brainerd minnesota thanks

Check out Crow Wing Lake campground. It is just south of Brainerd on hwy 371. We stayed there last Labor Day weekend and had a good time.

How close do you want to be to Brainerd? Crow Wing State Park is nice, there's a campground on Gull Lake, a state forest campground near Pillager, Mille Lacs Kathio State Park is about 30 miles away, campground at Crosslake ...

That Army Corps of Engineers campgrount at Crosslake that IFallsRon mentioned is really nice. Good layout with a number of ammentities and within walking distance of restraunts, grocery store, etc. There is a fishing pier, playground, beach, boat landing, showers, flush toilets.

Just as others have said the campground in Crosslake is very nice, lot's of things in walking distance. If you want something a little more rustic then check out Crow Wing State Park, beautiful place right on the river, hiking trails etc. If you do need any supplies you're only 5 miles from the Baxter strip.
