Solar chargers

I have a Floe boat lift and I need a solar charger to keep my battery up. The Floe product costs $330 very sweet product but a bit spendy for me. I see nice solar chargers at Fleet Farm and other similar stores for about $100. How much wattage or power or whatever do I need to buy to keep a single 12 volt deep cycle alive? What kind of luck have others had with these chargers?

I got a 15 watt from Northern and it did the trick for me at about $150. I put the rig on top of the canopy and tied it down. Only hassle was remembering to disconnect and store the wires before I started to pull out of the lift.

I got a 15 watt from Cabelas and it works as long as you don't need the battery every day. If you have at least several days between a run down battery and the next use, you will be fine. Make sure you get a solar controller device to prevent overcharging though. I am able to keep my 24v system charged but there is usually 1 week between uses at least.
