Power Washer Question

broken line

Question

So I was power washing the boat after a week in Canada, and for no apparent reason, I lost water pressure but the engine continued to run fine. The owner's manual troubleshooting section mentions there may be a bad seal or piston. The machine is an Excel 2600 model.

Any suggestions or experience with this, and is it a pretty easy fix?

Bingo....

It most likely has a screen so particles and junk can't get into the pump --- if you're losing pressure, it's the screen. Easy fix.
