fishin58
Have done the search for old carpet projects, but came up empty.I will be carpeting my boat, this might be a simple-answer question. For compartments can you go right over the hinges or do you have do the door itself then the other side and then put the hinge on top of the carpet? Will it stretch too much or be too slack?? MIKE IN lINO III
I just finished putting carpet in my Lund. Turned out nice.I took all the boards and hinges off to wrap the carpet and then put the hinge back on. Good Luck, Mike
marine_man
I think this is going to be the best bet... if you strech it over you've got a spot that's not glued that could start to work it's way loose.marine_man
Rebel9921
Definitely carpet on first then either screw or rivet the hinges back on...
