Images with the 50-500

A few of the images I have taken with the Sigma 50-500. I like it but not one I think I would save up for to purchase.

i've got a SIgma 50-500 and I really like it. to get the best out of it you have to stop down to at least F9 and its even better at F11. Because it is a slow lens this limits you bright days, and hand holding is pretty much out of the question.

Thanks for the responses. I think part of my problem is that with the D-40 it will not let me adjust the manual settings so I can not adjust anything. It does need a fair amount of light. I can not personally use it hand held very well, just to big. I did purchase a mono pod which really helps. I do like the lens but like I said I don't think I would save up for it unless I purchase a different camera, I am thinking about the Nikon 5000.
