Ozark trail tent.

I just got a Ozark Trail 16 x 9.5 Family Dome Tent. I was wondering if any one has had any experience with this specific tent or brand of tents? I plan on going to the Detroit lakes area in July. Any comments or advice would be great. It was a spur of the moment buy that was at a good price . We should have looked into our options though .

Spend a bit more cash and get a more reliable tent. Check out Kelty REI or Sierra Designs.

Did you buy your tent at Walmart? I bought a Ozark Trail tent at Walmart a few years ago. It's 20 X 8. It was on clearance for $20, so I couldn't pass it up. The first time we used it, it rained all night. We woke up in the middle of the night with water dripping thru all over, got everything in the tent wet. I've put on seam sealer twice and about 4 cans of waterproofing spray. Doesn't leak now. I wouldn't recommend these tents to anyone.
