I decided this afternoon to go ahead and rent a lense so I can try and get some nice shots of all the birds I have at the feeders. I have ordered the Sigma 50-500. I am very excited to try this out. My ability level may show a bit but it sure will be fun to play with

Thanks, I will share once I get some shots! I thought it was fairly reasonable to rent...I think it will give me a feel for what good lenses are like. Maybe inspire me to keep doing research and saving up for one of my own. I have to laugh however...the camera and lens will be probably sitting in the middle of the pontoon for the weekend with people having to walk around it.
