I'm not a mechanically inclined person but would like to have my motor tuned up and the carbs gone through. What is a fair price to pay for a carb kit and clean on a 1980's 40 hp (2 carbs)Evinrude? How about any recommendations for a service tech in the NW metro? I appreciate your help...

It kind of depends on how many carb's we're talking about, and what parts are needed, and how bad they are (time wise), but a couple hundred bucks probably.

Hannay's is a decent place in the NW Metro...
