coyote hunting

i was just wondering is it legal for me to go out coyote hunting with a .222 tomorrow friday nov 14? some people tell me that you can't have a center fire rifle out before deer hunting season.

sorry but you cant for a week before and during deerhunting. so your out of luck for the time being. have to wait another week. good luck with those coyotes. we always seem to need our rifle during this week for them to.

It is still legal to use a shotgun, if you can get them close enough.

wish you were out in my neck of the woods dozer. went pheasant hunting last weekend and saw a lot of coyote signs and not one deer the entire time. talking to some deer hunters sounded like the coyotes were actively pushing deer out of the area. doesn't look good for deer hunting this year; I'm going this weekend but not holding my breath. mangy mutts.
