The attached photo is a shot of the "Dog Hole" on the Rush river. It is an old Film image that I scanned and converted to digital.

Is this the same Rush river that's down by LeSueur? I did not know there was trout in there?

No, this Rush is in WIsconsin just east of Ellsworths.The Dog Hole is formed where Lost Creek enters the Rush. A good spot to fish the March Brown hatch.

Yeah, I figured it was somewhere else. About the only fish in the Minnesota Rush are suckers and carp. You can fly fish for carp, but it somehow would make the picture less romantic if that's what the guy was fishing for
