mmeyer
I used a different processing technique on these two flower images. I'm interested to know what you think. Thanks for looking.
Birdsong
The tulips almost look like oriental rice paper or some of those hand made papers. I do like the blue veining in them, maybe a little different crop, or does it lose the effect? The green of the stems is interesting. I just wondered what a little leaf might offer. I can't imagine what you did for processing.
Dbl
I like the treatment in the second one. The first I think the effect might be a tad strong. I like what it did with the background in #1 though. Mask it off and tone it down on the flower?
mmeyer
Thanks for the comments. I'll try to post before pics later. Dan, I do think that masking off the flower and toning it down would improve that. I was trying to think of a way to make it a little better.Birdsong, I was going for a rice paper or textured paper look so I'm glad that I accomplished that.
