GTG

12 posts in this topic

Ok, so I am thinking the 16th of May I am heading down to Cannon Falls to hit the bike trail down there. Who else is up for the GTG still and would that work for everyone interested?

I was thinking the 17th, but I go back to work at 6am that Monday, so I want to have some time to rest as I plan on doing the whole trail.

For those who might come but might be traveling a distance, I was planning on being there around 10am. Does that work???

Here is a site about the trail: cannonvalleytrail.com.

Not sure what other details anyone needs to know, but here is what I have so far. (I'm also thinking of checking out the winery down there!) winkgrin

Sorry, I won't be able to make it either. frown I got a left over turkey permit for that weekend.

I'm still riding the Gateway Trail often though.

I was trying other weekends in May, but the weekend of the 9th is fishing opener and the weekend of the 23 is Memorial weekend. frown I plan on hitting way more trails and will probably go down there more than once, so if you wanna go biking sometime let me know: jesyka_41@hotmail.com. I don't mind traveling to find a great trail smile.

For personal reasons, I need to back out from this gtg. Not many people are showing up it looks like, but if other people want to go have fun.

I do plan on hitting that trail sometime this summer. If anyone else is interested in doing a gtg, let me know. Anyone looking to hit up trails this summer in the metro area (I'll even travel a little outside the metro if I have enough time off of work) feel free to email me at jesyka_41@hotmail.com.

Sorry everyone frown.

Never have, but I have vacation coming up soon and wouldn't mind riding up that way. Hey, if all goes well, I might be living up by Lake Calhoun before the end of the year, would get to know the area before I move smile. grin

    • Still best smoked, as they are an oily fish, too.
    • I am having the same issue with mine. I believe it's a gen 2 that's 2 years old but only been out 3 times now. Took it out last weekend for the first time this year and the hose was stiff and the fittings leaked. I contacted jiffy and they said it needed to go to a service center to be repaired. I called the service center and they would have to order the part anyway. I've tried finding the hose around town but everywhere is sold out. That's definitely going to put a damper on the nice weekend coming up. I'm really kicking myself for going with the propane and not an Ion. This auger was my first experience with jiffy after having and Eskimo and strikemaster. My strikemaster was the 3 blade that had some issues with bending the blades. I called them to find out if there was a replacement that I could buy and they ended up swapping it for free and this was after having it for 6-8 years. I'm very disappointed in the service from jiffy on a 2 year old auger with defective parts.
    • For me Tullies have always been rather strong flavored. Always needed a lot of smoke to cover that up.
    • Looking forward to the results of your experiment.
    • And now today is Wednesday.  So There.
    • a quick blurry shot and off they went. still trying to get them together in a good shot. maybe some day.
    • I posted that several days ago, although if you know what interest rates will be doing over the next several years you have better ways to spend your time than posting here.    You would no longer have to work for a living for sure.     To refresh your memory, the 9.1 trillion that you and Rand Paul are so upset about would not increase the debt to GDP ratio, assuming a 5% growth in Nominal GDP, which would be 3% growth and 2% inflation.      Do you have a figure for acceptable level of Debt to GDP?
    • Right.  Sometimes Obama wasn't Progressive enough.  Bernie was more your speed.
    • This is America.  We have computers and printers.  You can print it and frame it and hang it on your wall.  Nothing stopping you.   In fact Costco will print it on Canvas for you.     Please, post a picture of your office with it framed on the wall.
