MUSKY18
So now that we are well into the Musky season, I was wondering what everyones thoughts are now in regards to the late ice out we had this spring. Do you think it has impacted the fishing in some ways? I think that the biggest impact that I have seen is the lack of weed development on certain lakes. They just haven't shown up yet, or are still small. I am sure that there are many other things as well, lets hear what you guys think.
Outfitter17
Musky18,We are at least 3 weeks behind with water temps and weed growth. The fish aren't in the summer patterns, which they should be at this time. The weed growt is just as you mentioned, very sparce and small. If we could get some decent temps, things would start to move along. Esox_Magnum
Same here, weeds are there but not like they should be. Temps are good here still getting more lookers than eaters. Even the walleye bites off a bit.
