minneman
In march our group heads to Mb to stay/fish buffalo bay, where we fish is virtualy on the boarder Mb/Mn. do we need a remote border pass to step back into Mn. to fish? all are licsensed for both Mb and Mn. with bait reciepts from Mb. We have been doing this for years and never gave it much thought but with terrorism and increased border patrol im thinking its worth asking
Catmendo
I can't see why you would need a special permit or otherwise, especially fishing boundry waters such as this. To eliminate a potential problems with the authorities it would be wise to make the necessary phone calls to the Canada Customs or U.S. Cumtoms. They'll be only to glad to steer you right! By the way, is pike the effort on this trip?Fish "Hard" Forever!Stu McKay
minneman
Yes I'll give customs a call, just thought there might be some input from others here.I guess it depends on what side of the line we catch a fish, could be either a jack or a pike. hehe
