eyeguy 54
Thinking of selling my pistol and getting a rifle instead. Can I just sell it? I can do some research and find the answer but thought it would be quicker to ask here.
Ganger
Yes, you can just sell it. But if you want to make sure the buyer isn't a felon or mentally incompetent, you can make him go through a FFL. By the way, I have your woodpecker in my pine tree.

Brad B
if it was me selling it I would ask the buyer to provide you with a photocopy of their purchase permit or their carry permit. this way you are covered if something was to happen later. if they have either permit then you should know it is okay to sell to them since they had the background check done on them when they got the permit. the other option would be to use it as a trade towards a rifle. most shops will take in used stuff on trade toward other guns. the thing with trades thou is expect to only get 50% to 60% of the new price(this applies if it is not a discontinued or rare model).send me a PM with what it is and what you want for it. I might be interested in it depending on what it is and what you want for it.
