bassislife
I have always had 2-strokes until this year. Now have a 50-4 stroke Yamaha. Normally I have always used Seafoam in all my gas fills, now with the 4-stroke EFI's I was told NOT to use the seafoam.Stabill is supposed to treat fuel for 3-months and Yamalube claims for a year. The yamalube does not specifi if it can be used with the EFI.I'm assuming the yamalube fuel stabilizer should be fine for the EFI 4-strokes? boatfixer
Yamalube is fine, so is BRP's 2+4, Sta-bil Marine, and Amsoil makes a very good stabilizer as well. They will all work well in an EFI
bassislife
Thanks Boatfixer! I thought it would work, just knew for sure seafoam would not work. Its too bad I already have to think about storing it... hunting season around the corner!
solbes
I was told the same thing by my dealer a year ago. Why doesn't Seafoam work in an EFI, but does for everything else? Can't remember the reason he gave.
