lawman
I have a 2001 suzuki 115Hp engine on my boat. I fish quite a bit but am usually on the trolling motor so the big engine doesn't run a lot. I have about 300 hours on this engine now. Is this considered a lot? If I were to trade it in on a new one is it worth more? The rest of my rig, a 18 foot Alumacraft is in good condition too. marine_man
Every dealer is different, but unless it had 1,000 hours or something higher like that, I don't think it'll make any difference on trade-in value. I'd be surprised if they check to see how many hours it has on it... marine_man
solbes
3000 hours on a four stroke before rebuild is not uncommon.
