gunflint
I've got a 92 GMC 6.5 Diesel. I blew an oil cooling line. I have decided to eliminate the cooler and lines all together. This truck is pretty much light duty now with it's work horse days behind it. Anyway can I just put plugs into the block or do I need to loop where the lines used to be? Thanks. theoilman
I've seen those lines give several people problems - cracked where they connect at the engine mostly. You need to loop them. All the lube oil for the engine is going through them.If yours come from an oil filter adapter block, you may be able to remove the adapter and screw the filter directly to the engine - and eliminate more possible leaks and problems. Whoaru99
Huh? Is that a good plan, to eliminate the engine oil cooler that is?
