azsearch
I figured this would be the best place to ask.Im thinking of buying a Marlin XL7, they have one at fleet farm but it has been there for 4 months or so (since the last time i noticed it) is there a reason a gun like that might sit on the self that long? Weird question, but just need some inputThanks to all
JeffB
There is nothing wrong with the marlin xl7 as a rifle as long as it fits you well and feels good. They have some nice features for a rifle in their price range. Marlin has never been know for their bolt action rifles but have been popular in lever actions. I think you can trust its a solid rifle with good design since they are now owned by remington. If you have been watching it for 4 months you probably think it the ticket so go for it. My choice in an inexpensive bolt gun would be a tikka, but there is nothing wrong with the gun your looking at.
