CPRJoe
Very nice Sledneck, couldn't agree more, about the "other guy"!!Bottom line of DW's rant is we need more emotion ie..Kyle Busch. And less "I hate it for them guys". ie..."the other guy"
SledNeck
When fox is done everyone will miss DW's rants, but probably not Fox's over marketing of digger. Even my 11 yo kid HATES digger!
LMITOUT
I found it ironic that after his rant (Larry Mac had one in his column last week too) about the lack of emotion and how NASCAR is going downhill fast, NASCAR puts Jr. and Mears on probation for their post-race incident which is what the sport needs right now, you know, some excitement? It's been dreadfully boring all season and if they think the "big one" at the super speedways is enough to keep people interested for the other 32 weeks they're horribly mistaken.Larry Mac said that NASCAR has put their thumb down on everyone so hard that they're all afraid to do anything without the fear of getting fined or put on probation and they need to relax a little. Well, there goes the chance of that happening....

The reason NASCAR is a joke is that if anyone other than Jr. would have done that they would have suspended him and docked him points. They are so inconsistent with they punishments and fines that they lose all credibility.

spearchucker
I'm all for letting them go at it, but then they have to let everyone play by the same rules. If you are mad at someone don't hit them with the car. Go out back after the race and duke it out if they are all so tough. It took one punch from Jimmy Spencer to straighten out Kurt Busch as an example.
