95 polaris atv engines

does any one know if a 340cc engine would fit in a 400l sportsman? 1995 model.

or what engines would work?

I take it you're talking about snowmobile engines?

I've seen custom fab jobs done to load a sled engine into a Scrambler. I don't recall the size of the motor, but it will take some custom work to get the engine mounted correctly.

well, i do have a 440 in a sled, that i was thinking about putting in a atv. a 340 also and posiibly a kowalski sled engine into an atv...

i tried fitting a couple, but to tall. for the atv frame.

if i put them in on their side. would the carburators make a diffrence sitting leval and such?

Are you trying to put a snowmobile engine into an ATV? I don't know of any 340cc or 440cc ATV motors.
