Need Up North Dog Trainer? 1 hour from Cities?

Looking for a dog trainer about an hour north of the cities or so. How soon should the pup start training? Is only 8 weeks old but I want to do it right from the get go. Thanks

Most gun dog trainers will not want to take on your pup until 6 months. Now is the time to get in to a good puppy school class for obedience and socialization. This will benefit you and the pup. The more obedient they can be by 6 months the better. I took one of my dogs to a guy in Kimble MN(St. Cloud area). Outback retrievers. Steve Yozamp. Great results and good people to work with. They have a HSOforum too.
