PierBridge
or maybe the style that people absolutely do not want We had that last year and it crashed the DNR servers and phone-lines it was called the Wall-Bass Hybrid plate...
LMITOUT
LOONS collected 19,487 total votes.TWO ANGLERS silhouetted in a boat, 17,844 votes.LADY-SLIPPER was No. 3, with 13,919 votes.WALLEYE, which collected 13,267 votes.Rounding out the vote at No. 5 was a wood duck, with 13,074 votes; at No. 6 a whitetail buck, with 12,964 votes; at No. 7 a flushing pheasant, with 12,214 votes and No. 8 a black-capped chickadee, with 11,682 votes.I would have to bet that people voted for the lady slipper as their "last choice" believing it was their 8th choice of the 8 plates, but in fact it was incorrectly polled and the results showed it as the people's fourth choice. I cannot see how that could be the third best choice out of 30,000 replies and only the poorly worded survey is to blame. The results may be released on Friday and the votes aren't the only determining factor, but rather used as "advisory" so this isn't the official final four. LMITOUT
I would assume or hope less than 2 percent of the people had any difficulty figuring this out. Pretty cut and dry to me. Quote:Please rank your four top choices - 1 for your top choice, 2 for your second, 3 for your third and 4 for your last choice. That's IF they read the directions....and even so the first half of the directions contradicts the second half. And, if you didn't read the directions and went right down to the selection area (like I did originally) a person sees "last choice" and naturally picks their least favorite plate (#8 of 8), when in reality the survey meant that as #4 of 8. Now the plate that statistically was supposed to be one of the least favorite becomes one of the top four which I have to assume is what happened here for the lady slipper to "slip" into the 3rd hole. The question now becomes: how many read the directions or voted their correct intent? That shouldn't be a problem on a properly worded poll/survey but since it is here the results should be thrown out. I had to do a second take and Mr. Carrell above also brought it up, so you have wonder how many others either misread or misinterpreted the question and answers. PierBridge
Again I find it hard to believe that more than a select few could have possibly misinterpreted "Please rank your four top choices" with what you are saying. So we'll have to agree to disagree on that. And as far as the Lady Slipper goes there's more to Critical Habitat than fishing and hunting. Anyway the New plates along with the 2 older plates that will be available.
