1991 Ford Escort 1.9 Has been a great car. Started up the other day and runs rough and smells like coolant. Oil looks overfull. Are these engines known for headgasket leaks or cylinder head issues?

The good news is you can have the head off in about 45 minutes. The bad news is the head can be junk!

Well that might not be too bad. I found a reman head on [YouNeedAuthorization] for 200 bucks. Is this a hard repair airjer, or could a novice like me handle it with a manual?

We had the power go out after a big storm. I had just pulled the T-belt. The power was out for a few days. No compressors, no trouble lights, no air tools. It still got done!
