Yeah, I did have it done last fall. 4we, this is also my third bout, but in less than 6 months!! Got a nice 4" gash on my shoulder this time. I'm hoping that all goes well this time and I can put a hurt on those sturgeon in April! I can tell ya, if the excursion was tomorrow, I'd be there for sure, but for moral support only! No way I would be able to horse one of them in right now.

Ooooh, cut ya open, I had 3 orthos, I wish they would have just cut me open if that meant they would have gotten it fixed the first time, instead of waisting my last 2 years with them.

I have had 1 scope and 1 where they cut me open about 3 inches. With the same procedure being done on each one, the non ortho surgery healed much faster and I had way less pain.

Keep up with the PT and you should be better soon. I had my last one done in April and I was climbing tress for archery hunting in September with no issues.

What did you guys have done? Rotator Cuff? Mine was called an Inferior Capsular Shift. Basically they cut the ligaments that hold the ball and socket together loose, and then shortened them and stitched them back up.

Did the torn labrum, two different spots on the same shoulder at the same time, ended up that it was over half torn. The cause of all of my problems though is called multi directional instability, basicall just a really loosely jointed shoulder. Many, many dislocations in the last 5-8 years, probably 50+. This last surgery SHOULD take care of any lingering problems.

I dislocated my shoulder quit frequently back in the day while playing hockey, football and water sports. It used to freak people out when I would just pop it back in and continue to play on! As you know once its been popped out a few few times the ligaments are so stretched out the shoulder slips in and out of the socket like butter!

I know a few people who have dislocated their shoulders while sleeping.....DOH!

Get Well Soon and don't slack off on your rehab!
