Which GPS do I pick...?

Difference between Humminbird 597ci and 587ci combo other then $100 and screen resolution? Will the Screen resolution affect how HD lake maps show up on the screen?

If you were to pick one out of these three, lowrance 522c @500, Humminbird 597ci @ $560 and 587ci @ $460??? All are internal GPS...

Screen resolution will make things easier to read. It's like going from standard definition TV to HDTV. It will not display any different, just a little clearer on the higher resolution. A lot of people like the 522. The only problem is the 522 is now being discontinued so they'll be harder to find. You probably won't be disappointed with either of the bird's though.

I know some were haveing reception problems with Lowrance internal GPS.

Thanks for the input, I am leaning towards the Humminbird 597ci sounds like a sweet unit. Plus your HDTV vs regular TV analogy has convinced me to stay away from the 587ci.
