easy slide bunk pads

Has anyone used these easy slide bunk pads? I was thinking about getting some for my 20ft alum. boat because its so hard to get it off the trailer in a shallow landing. The only thing keeping me from ordering them is they say its not recommended for painted hulls. I cant think of too many boats neededing slicks that are not painted. any thought would be appreciated.

I have Ultimate Bunk Boards on one of my trailers. You might want to google them.

One thing! If you do install these, check them often for wear! A buddy of mine installed them on his ranger trailer. They worked great, but wore down so, that the screw heads were above the pads. Cost him big bucks to repair the bottom of the boat.

Do not use them with a rivoted hull. They catch, not good. Hard on rivots, chip the pads.
