Cancun fishing

Anybody fished the area? Going down the end of the month and was wondering if I should give it a try.

It's been a while since I've been there, but yes, there's very good fishing there. I just remember Mahi Mahi, but other species as well. There should be a lot of outfits that will take you, so it won't hurt to "shop around" , and this may sound silly, but be sure to ask them if you get to keep the fish. If you don't care, no prob. there, but some of those guys will tell you it's gonna cost more to keep them if you don't ask before-hand.

Thanks for getting back to me. Last time I was in Cancun was over 25 years ago and I don't remember a lot about it-if you know what I mean!!! I only had 2 things on my mind back then girls and parting:)
