Ducks Unlimited Ice Fishing Tournament

I am trying to decide between the perch extravaganza or the DU tournament both being held on February 21st. Fished the extravaganza before but never the DU. I checked out the HSOforum for the DU and it looks like it is set up well. I am curious as to the typical crowd size, area they fish, etc.

I appreciate any input.

i fish du every year...great time ....its at garrison bay...smaller crowd but great time ...besides you get there mag every month...and it helps the ducks....10 of us go every year this year alot more.i will be fishing the south end if you want to join us....brats...beer..hot choc bring your own to add to the hot choc....we may not catch alot of fish but who cares

Not to knock DU I support it fully but there contest stinks go to the extravaganza

Hey man- Raise some bucks for the ducks, drink a few beers, have a good time, and if you really have a hard time deciding you can always use a DU event as a tax write-off.

Im going to this for the first time.. did the brainerd tour last month...wont do that one again, had to walk bout a mile, cold as all get out, a billion people, etc.

My buddy told me bout this one. not as many people and u can park fairly close. Not as good of prizes but still not bad
