Darkhouse rentals

Anybody ever rented a darkhouse for spearing? Let me know where and how it was, looking for a trip for next year about 6 guys. Thanks for any info.

Try Winnie if you don't mind the drive.

There are a few resorts around there that rent them.

I think the Third River Flowage is the first to get safe ice around there.

Do a search for "darkhouse rental". There's quite a few places that rent them.

I checked around this year and this what I remember. Near Baudette, Zippel Bay Resort rents houses and so does Kathy Hull. Next year, I'll probably rent a house from Kathy. On Rainy Lk, Woody's Fairly REliable Guide service rents house and/or guides spear fisherman. Bob Johnson in Brainerd guides people spearing. On Leech, there are a few spots. I rented a house from Oak Point Resort and had a great day. I plan on going back there. That would be a fun spot for a FM.com get-together.
