AR-15's

I'm thinking about getting a ar-15. I'm looking at a model similar to the m-4 style. It would be used for fun and defending the home. I lean towards DPMS because of their reputation and local made. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Scotty

Scotty look no further than DMPS. Great guys, great guns, and their local. Their new facility is now in St.Cloud within yards of the Del-Tone-Luth Gun Club and rifle range. It is one of their .308's that I'm getting within the next week or so.

If you were looking for an elk gun with low recoil....their .308 is SWEET!!! Less than 1" groups at 100yds out of the box, Bolt action accuracy in a semi-Auto.

In their AR type .223's they have a wide range of options, barrels, recievers etc. I like the upper receiver in 22LR that one could get for their AR 15 which would make plinking very cheap.

We trained with Ar-15 at Police acadamey. If your going to buy one, make sure to clean it and take good care of it. If you don't you'll have several misfires and jams. Otherwise they are nice guns, with little recoil and a ton of acurracy.

One of my employees bought a Bushmaster Varmint special. Boy, what a sweet rifle. He put a pentax scope on it. Next week he's letting me take it to the range. I can hardly wait.
