youngie22
I think my thermo stat went out today! Wondering if I pick one up and replace if it, should that solve my problems. I have a '97 Ford F-250 7.3l powerstroke. Should it be just like replacing stat on gas engine? Seems next to the stat housing theres a couple modules or elec. sensors. could it be something else. Drove about 15 miles and then noticed temp gauge was just a hair off of cold. I thik I'll try to pick one up after work.
Scott K
The t-stat is easy to do on this truck, and it is more then likely the problem. Is the heater blowing hot, if not I would replace t-stat and see if that fixed it.
