Frabill Magnum open front setup

Hey all, can someone tell me how to set up the Frabill Magnum to be an open front? I tried to figure it out yesterday and it's the first time it's been warm enough this year to use it that way. I tried to figure it out but didn't want to waste too much fishing time, so I just used the telescoping pole on the ice against the front so it couldn't fall down. Kind of the opposite of how it is designed to be used. The way the wind was blowing the support pole clasps weren't strong enough to hold up the front. Thanks for any ideas.

I have a Trekker II and it has a small hook on each side of the brackets that bolt to the corners of the tub. They just flip down over the bottom tube to hold it in the up position. I think the Magnum is the same. But it is kind of flimsey. I like your idea of bracing it with the pole better.

It is almost easier to use the back 2 support poles and let it form a lean to.

The pole support deals on the corner brackets work, but very often guys install them upside-down..easy to do too. You can do one facing up and the other facing down..that way it holds the bars from moving either way. Depending on the model you may need to adjust the bolt hole.

I tend to like the pole method from the back to the front as needed over the corner bracket as it stays firmer and allows for a quick closing if the wind is a pain.
