Stainless vs. Regular

In my opinion there is no difference but the $$'s

A quality spear with a quality powdercoating should not rust for a very long time.

Very few if any of the old timers used stainless and many of their spears are still around and in use today.

Put the extra money toward something else (underwater cam or fish saw etc)

Just my 2 sense

Nice pick up, think you should take him spearing ALOT for givin u that spear ay?! Good luck with the new spear.

I have a new lazer cut spear with powder coat black, it flies straight and is nice n heavy for me. Love the powder coating, Ive hit a couple rocks n not even a chip off it, but I like the looks of the amish spears wouldnt mind having one of each smile
