rascalP Posted July 25, 2004 Share Posted July 25, 2004 I like them both for bass. Sand has a little better launch and much better parking. If you've never been to Poplar, you'll have to search for the launch. Don't expect to see any signs. Sand is probably a little clearer, both have nice weedlines. Sand has a big bay on the east side, nearly cut off from the main lake, 6 or 7 ft deep max and weedy. Poplar has a bay on the west with pads and rush's. Main lake on both lake's, stick to the deep weed edges. Action lakes with a 18-19" fish being very nice. rascal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
