StrikeMaster-Nills Adapter

My buddy told me there was an adapter that allows you to put a nills auger bottom on a strikemaster power head. I was wondering if any of you have heard of this and where you can get one, also how do they work?

Yes they do, the gator fits the SM powerheads without an adapter.

No, they don't. frown

I ordered one, got it yesterday, and it would not work. I emailed icegator and they said it wouldn't work. The reason is that icegator shaft is shorter thatn the strikemaster shaft. I could get my nils hand auger on the nils end of the adpter and (after some filing) I could get the ice gator end on the strikemaster shaft from the powerhead, but you can't get both bolted on at the same time. The holes are too close together. Too bad because if they were just 2-3mm further apart you it would have worked. Icegator suggested cutting a little off of the nils auger shaft.
